For years, my husband and I said we would never build a house — primarily because of all the negative stories you hear from people who have built. In 2011, for many different reasons, we decided it was the right time for us to build our dream home and so we set out to find a builder that could make us feel comfortable with the process. It was very important to us to find "the right builder" so that we could make sure the experience would be a good one for our family. There are a number of good builders in Gainesville; however, the thing that made us choose (and, ultimately, love) Warring Homes was the Warrings! We were building our house while living in NY, so we had to trust that Mark and Greg would take care of every detail for us. Not only were they at our work site everyday, they looked after every stage of building as if the house they were building was their own. They genuinely cared about the details and cared about making sure we were happy with each little item, from the floor plan (a not so little detail), to the finish on the doorknobs, to the pattern in the granite and marble or the orientation of the floor boards. They completed every single phase of the house on time, and exactly on budget. The entire building process was easy, fun, and exciting. They have stayed in touch with us in the years that followed and are always available if we have a question or minor problem with any part of the house. I am truly lucky to have chosen Mark Warring to build my house. He helped turn this daunting task into one of the best experiences of my life. He was patient and practical with me as I made decisions on every little detail. He was intimately involved with all day-to-day processes.
